In this hands-on art class, kids will explore the world of black-and-white printmaking through the lens of legendary nature photographer Ansel Adams. Using simple tools and natural shapes like leaves, trees, and mountains, young artists will create striking prints full of texture, contrast, and imagination. Along the way, they’ll learn about light and shadow, explore creative composition, and experiment with fun printmaking techniques—no experience needed, just curiosity and a love for the outdoors!
This class is designed for kids ages 8-12. All supplies will be provided.
Note: Two members of the OKCMOA staff will be on-site throughout the duration of each class session. Authorized adults must check students in and out at the Theater Lobby desk.
